Prof. Man Singh, Dean, School of Chemical Sciences has developed an organic sanitizer to wash vegetables and fruits with full safety and removal of pesticides from its skin. Given the Corona -scare, the research holds merit as it viewed to protect people from the negative effects of the generally available sanitizers which use chemicals.

This organic sanitizer has exceptional wettability that enables it to enter the COVID-19 and damage its structural frameworks which result to defunct the COVID-19 and ultimately leads to its death. Also, it has electronegative active constituents and adequate hydrophobic sites. These interact with the protein spikes and phosphates of RNA of COVID-19.
