Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) has been established at Central University of Gujarat with the vision to promote social justice, equality, and educational empowerment as envisioned by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The Centre serves as a focal point for research, education, and outreach activities that address issues of social inclusion and equity.

The Centre is committed to carrying forward the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar by promoting constitutional values, social justice, and inclusive development. It aims to create an environment that fosters critical thinking, research excellence, and social awareness among students, faculty, and the broader community.

DACE conducts various academic and research activities including seminars, workshops, conferences, and special lectures on themes related to social justice, constitutional law, human rights, and inclusive development. The Centre also provides support to students from marginalized communities through various educational and support programs.

To establish a Centre of Excellence that promotes the ideals and philosophy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, fostering social justice, equality, and inclusive development through education, research, and community engagement.

The Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence was formally inaugurated on 14th April 2023 on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's birth anniversary. The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including eminent scholars, social activists, and academic leaders.
