Non-NET Fellowship Guidelines

Central University of Gujarat provides fellowship opportunities for research scholars who have not qualified NET but meet other eligibility criteria for pursuing research programs under the UGC Non-NET Fellowship scheme.

About UGC Non-NET Fellowship

The University Grants Commission (UGC) Non-NET Fellowship is designed to support research scholars who wish to pursue doctoral studies but have not qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET). This fellowship provides financial assistance to encourage research activities in various academic disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD)
  • Admission to Ph.D. program through university entrance test
  • Should not be receiving any other fellowship/scholarship
  • Age limit as per UGC norms
  • Must be enrolled as regular Ph.D. student
